Photographs from the St Denis churchyard tidy-up,
14 August 2011
A fine morning allowed 13 willing volunteers to rake up the very long grass in the churchyard, strim around the church and the gravestones and cut back the brambles encroaching from the hedgerow . Many thanks to Carole Cooper for taking these photographs.

▲ Hard at work raking up the long grass cut the previous afternoon: Nicola Jenkins, Becky Fisher, John Lanchbery and Alan Pinney, who strimmed away all the nettles around the church.
