GamArch – Gamlingay Archaeology Group

It was through Gamlingay Archaeology Group (GamArch) that the East Hatley Test Pit Dig took place in July 2014.  There are hopes of another session.

GamArch is run by and for enthusiasts with a strong interest in Gamlingay and district's archaeology and history – particularly exploring and researching Gamlingay and Hatley, sharing their discoveries and 'having fun doing it'.

Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month (except January and April) in the Blythe Way Community Room (Blythe Way is off Stock's Lane opposite the Eco Hub) at 7.30 pm.

They are open to all, whether resident in the village or not.  Annual membership is £10.00.

Go to the GamArch website for further information.

GamArch is is affiliated to Jigsaw Cambridgeshire (who were also very helpful during the East Hatley test pit weekend).
