Hatley Parish Council news
Litter picking Hatley Parish Council has organised a litter pick on Sunday, 21 March, starting at 10.00 am, to collect the litter spoiling the verges along the roadside from the clump opposite the Gransden Hill turn to beyond Parkers Farm.
This is a big task, so PLEASE come and help – the verges are part of your countryside. It doesn't take long, it's something that we can all do and it's nice to be part of the community spirit. Energetic youngsters who can reach under hedges are particularly welcome!
The Parish Council has a few mechanical litter pickers and plenty of bin bags – if you have a 'picker', please bring it with you. Filled bin bags can be left on the roadside verge for collection during the day.
Meet at 10.00 am outside the village hall – and please wear good gardening gloves and wellies etc.
