Hatley website group

The Hatley Website Group was set up under the auspices of Hatley Parish Council to design and run this website for the residents of Hatley St George and East Hatley.  The Council is very active in its interest, support and encouragement of the project.

The Parish Council is responsible for the policy and content of this website, but it has delegated the provision of the website and its contents to the Hatley Website Group – which is directly answerable to the Parish Council.

In February 2004 the Group was awarded a community grant by South Cambridgeshire District Council to set up and maintain the site. There are presently four members in the Group, which has been meeting regularly since September 2003.  It went live on 12 July 2004.

If you would like to contact the Group with any comments about the site, ideas for it or to offer contributions, we'd be delighted to hear from you.

Would you like to join the team?

We are looking for volunteers to join the Hatley website team and help to run and maintain the quality of our village website.

Young or old, with or without web experience – your help would be appreciated.

What’s involved?  Helping to check that the site is up to date, researching useful information and writing pieces of interest to Hatley residents.

We have two or three relatively informal meetings a year to discuss ideas and progress – nothing stressful... and many hands make light work.   Web creation / maintenance experience is an asset, but not essential.

If you are interested please contact us or contact either:
