Up to £15,000 is on offer to local groups and parish councils to help reduce climate change.

Can you think of any projects we can do in Hatley?

South Cambs District Council has announced a second round of the Zero Carbon Communities Grants for projects from parish councils and community organisations.

This year projects are invited on any of the three themes: cycling, community buildings and tree-planting and other nature-based solutions.

Closing date for applications, for anything between £1,000 and £15,000, is 30th September 2020.

Full details, including the objectives which need to be achieved, are on South Cambs District Council’s website.

As a Hatley Parish Councillor, please also let me know what you think so I can pass your ideas on to my colleagues on the council.  My e-mail is nicola.jenkins49@btinternet.com.
